I want to buy prescription sunglasses but would it be cheaper to get contacts and get $10 sunglasses?
Is it possible to buy some sunglasses I like and go and ask them if they cam make perscription lenses for them? If it helps I go to Lense Crafters. Also what is a good way to get the money fro the sunglasses I want. They are by Ralph Lauren and they are roughly $210. I am 13 and I really need the money. I don't get an allowance so i just don't get it for free.
If wearing contact lenses is convenient for you, it would definitively be cheaper. In addition, if you go indoors you can also take your sunglasses off, while not having any problems with your sight.
On the other hand, you should be very careful with cheap sunglasses, since they usually have a poor blocking of dangerous UV radiation. So in that case I advise to buy sunglasses to block sufficient UV radiation (preferably at least 90% protection), or to buy contact lenses that block UV radiation.
