Is it possible to put a pentax k-mount lens on an F-mount dslr?

Camera:
Nikon D40

Lenses:
Cosmicar 70-200mm f/4 http://kmp.bdimitrov.de/lenses/zooms/_non-SMC/cos_70-200f4.html

Is there an adapter for this?
Does a K-mount lens to F-mount camera adapter exist? I'm seeing several places on google that say the other way around (F lens to K camera) exist, but not this one. Could i get some links to ones that would work for this?

The reason i want to try this is i found a couple of K-mount lenses for about $5 each, so I want to play with them a bit. I have my lenses that I use for my every day walkin around so this is more for that controlled experimentation sort of thing

K and F mounts have differing registration distances so an OPTICAL adaptor is needed to bring the K into line with the F. This has to degrade the final image to some extent no matter how good the optics are in the adaptor.
