What would you call the trim tabs that are mounted under the back of the boat?
Load stabilisers or levellers. While they are used in hulls that are less than 12 degrees to deal with sliding, "aid in turns", their main use is to level out the ride. Say you are in a bass boat and your buddy beside you weighs 300lbs. you've got the picture. I almost forgot, they help in quicker plane-ing times and to hold the bow down in shorter boats with heavy engines. You did not state weather it was a plane-ing, semi displacement or displacement hull.
